3-month Silicon Valley exchange program announced for female entrepreneurs
Job Description
With support and funding from the US Department of State-US Embassy Pakistan, Ejad Labs has announced a 12-week exchange program for female entrepreneurs in collaboration with TiE Islamabad and Change Mechanics. APWE — Accelerator Program for Women Entrepreneurs will enable Pakistani Women entrepreneurs to accelerate their growth through a fully-funded 3-month Silicon Valley exchange program and 16-month acceleration program.
In order to take part in the exchange program, applicants need to meet the minimum eligibility requirements.
- Startup Age: The entrepreneur’s startup should be more than 2 years old
- Founder Credentials: A CEO role within the startup
- Equity Stakes: Should hold substantial equity (20%+)

The acceleration program will have 4 different phases:
- Nation-wide outreach drive growth-stage women lead startups
- Business model development workshop
- The selection of 12 startups will be in the competitive process
- 3.5 months founder institute acceleration program
The exchange program will include networking visits to leading U.S. startups, participation in the Pakistan Tech Summit, a developer week, and participation in a pre-exchange boot camp.
An alumnus of the acceleration program will also have access to networking events, on-demand mentoring, and a virtual accelerator after the exchange program ends.
